The Cleveland Play House (LORT C), the oldest
continuously operating regional theatre in America, is accepting applications
for a Production Electrician. The Play House is a four theater complex
with all shops and storage facilities located on site. The Production
Electrician’s responsibilities include maintaining the budgets and lighting
equipment as well as the hang, focus and strike of a 6 show mainstage season
plus an annual Christmas show and additional second stage shows. Must work
closely with designers and be able to interpret plots and paperwork. Supervise
three full time I.A.T.S.E electricians plus overhire. Qualified candidates
should have 3-5 years professional experience, preferably in regional
theatre. Experience with VectorWorks and Lightwright essential.
Position requires a highly organized person with strong communication and
supervisory skills. Position is full time, year round with benefits. Some design
